2020 Pre-K Passes Now Available
The Pre-K Pass is FREE for kids ages three to five years old and includes unlimited visits for the entire 2019 AND 2020 season, including South Bay Shores Waterpark, The Great Pumpkin Fest and WinterFest!
With your Pre-K Pass, your child can come and go as often as you’d like all season – for FREE.
Getting your child’s Pre-K Pass is as easy as 1-2-3!
Step 1: Register
Register your child online for their free Pre-K Pass. Must register by May 25, 2020. Remember you can upload your child's photo online to save time!
Step 2: Activate
After you register your child, bring them to the park to activate their pass. Be sure to bring your child and a valid birth certificate or passport that shows their age. As long as your child is 3-5 years of age on the date you activate the pass, they are eligible! Deadline to activate is June 14, 2020.
Step 3: Play
After you’ve activated your child’s Pre-K Pass, they can visit for free anytime you’d like.
What is the California’s Great America Pre-K Pass?
California’s Great America offers kids ages 3 - 5 years old a free Pre-K Pass. The Pre-K Pass grants complimentary admission to California’s Great America for the entire season, including Boomerang Bay Waterpark (becoming South Bay Shores Waterpark in 2020), the Great Pumpkin Fest and WinterFest.
Who is eligible?
The California’s Great America Pre-K Pass is available for kids who are between the ages of 3 - 5 at the time of activation.
When do I need to activate the pass?
To take advantage of this special limited-time offer, you must register online for the Pre-K Pass by May 25, 2020 and activate the pass at California’s Great America by June 14, 2020.
My child is 5 this year, turning 6. Am I still eligible?
As long as your child is 5 years of age on the date you activate the pass, you are eligible.
How long is the free California’s Great America Pre-K Pass valid for?
The Pre-K Pass grants complimentary admission to California’s Great America for the rest of the 2019 season and the entire 2020 season, including Boomerang Bay Waterpark (becoming South Bay Shores Waterpark in 2020), the Great Pumpkin Fest and WinterFest.
Is it available at other Cedar Fair Parks?
Not all Cedar Fair parks have a Pre-K Pass. Check with each park to see if they offer a Pre-K Pass in advance of your visit. You must register and activate a Pre-K Pass for each individual each park. One pass will not work for all Cedar Fair parks.
How do I register?
Register online, follow the directions and submit. Print the e-ticket and bring it to the Season Pass Processing Center or front gate ticket booth along with your child and a valid form of identification that proves the child’s date of birth. Examples of valid identification are a birth certificate or travel passport. These can be originals or copies.
Where do I receive the Pre-K pass?
The offer is NOT available at the California’s Great America front gate. You must register online at cagreatamerica.com before you get to the park. You will receive the Pre-K pass at the Season Pass Processing Center once proper identification is shown proving your child’s date of birth and your child’s picture is taken. Examples of valid identification are a birth certificate or travel passport. These can be originals or copies.
Where can I activate my Pre-K Pass?
You can activate your Pre-K Pass at the front gate ticket booth or at the season pass processing center inside of the park. We encourage parents to upload their child’s photo online to make for faster activation at the front gate.
What kind of identification do I need to provide?
Valid identification includes a birth certificate or a travel passport. These can be originals or copies. Please note that school IDs or children security IDs will not be accepted.
Can I renew a Pre-K Pass?
Yes. To qualify for the 2020 Pre-K Pass Renewal, your child must be between 3-5 years old on the date their Pre-K Pass is renewed. Once the renewal process is complete online, your child’s existing Pre-K Pass is valid for the remainder of the 2019 season and the entire 2020 season. Pre-K Pass Renewal is only available online. You will not be able to renew a Pre-K Pass at the park.
How to Renew Your Pre-K Pass
Guests who are currently Pre-K Passholders, who still meet the age requirements for the pass, can "re-register" using the following steps:
- Access the Pre-K Renewal Center and CHOOSE the Pre-K Pass "Renewal" ticket option
- RENEW - Enter your child's Pre-K Passholder ID number, located on the bottom of their Pre-K Pass I.D. card and follow the prompted instructions
- PLAY! - After renewing your Pre-K pass, your child can come and go as often as you'd like throughout the remaining 2019 season as well as the entire 2020 season! Your child may use their existing Pre-K I.D. card for admission.
Does the Pre-K Pass include free parking?
No. The Pre-K Pass does not include free parking.
Is the Pre-K Pass valid at Gilroy Gardens?
Yes, the California’s Great America Pre-K Pass is also valid for free admission at Gilroy Gardens.
