Cabana Frequently Asked Questions
Cabana reservations must be made at least 48 hours prior to visit date. You may purchase a cabana on the day of your visit, if available, by visiting the cabana rental stations located next to Tide Pool cabanas or Great Barrier Reef cabanas.
Breakers Bay cabanas are located along the side of Breakers Bay wave pool. Tide Pool cabanas are located along the Tide Pool lagoon. Sand Bar party cabanas are located along the edge of Breakers Bay wave pool, near Sand Bar restaurant.
The cabanas open at 11am and close when South Bay Shores waterpark closes. Check our park calendar for up-to-date operating times.
Guests must bring their e-Ticket at the time of check-in. Cabana check-in occurs between 11am - 4pm. You must arrive by 4pm to claim your reservation. Reservations are not held past 4pm and refunds are not issued for late arrivals.
For security purposes, the cabana tents do not fully close. Cabana guests should use the changing areas located throughout South Bay Shores waterpark.
While the general public is restricted from the cabana area, cabana guests are encouraged to lock all valuables in their secured safe. California’s Great America is not responsible for articles that are lost or stolen.
No. Cabana rental purchases and reservations are non-refundable.
