“For the past two summers, our guests have enjoyed celebrating Orleans-style food and fun, which is why we’re so excited to bring this event back again in 2018,” said California’s Great America vice president and general manager Raul Rehnborg. “Whether you come for the gumbo or to ride our groundbreaking new single-rail coaster, RailBlazer, California’s Great America is the place to be for thrill seekers and food-festival fans alike.”
Chalk artists will decorate the midway with Mardi Gras murals throughout the festival, and there will be free mask decorating for kids 12 and under. Stilt-walkers and other Orleans entertainers will also interact with guests during the event.
