California's Great America Offers Free Military Admission Through May 29
In Honor Of New Patriot Coaster, Current And Past Military Receive Free Admission Through Memorial Day; Discounted Admission For Up To Six Additional Guests
SANTA CLARA, CA – California’s Great America will offer free admission for current and past military personnel through Memorial Day, Monday, May 29 to celebrate the new Patriot roller coaster and to honor America’s great service members. Each military guest will also be able to bring up to six additional guests at a discounted rate of $30 per person.
“As a former Marine, I’m proud Great America is making this generous offer to those who serve our country,” said Jose Rios, California’s Great America ride control foreman. “I strongly encourage all veterans to take advantage of this offer.”
The special reward for America’s brave service members is valid with a military issued ID. To take advantage of this offer, guests should present their military ID at any California’s Great America ticket window.
“These brave men and women give everything for our country, and California’s Great America is proud to reward them with free admission,” said Raul Rehnborg, Vice President and General Manager.
Great America’s 2017 season runs through December 30, with many special events throughout the season, including Red, White & Brews, Taste of Orleans, Halloween Haunt and WinterFest.
California’s Great America is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, a publicly traded partnership that is listed for trading on The New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “FUN.” In addition to Great America, Cedar Fair owns and operates ten other amusement parks, two water parks, one indoor water park, and five hotels. Cedar Fair also operates the Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park in California under a management contract.
