Go Coast to Coaster on the Ultimate Scream Machine Road Trip

Danny Messinger

As area manager of digital marketing, I get to tell the incredible stories of our park to the world—and take our biggest fans Between the Lines. I’ve been an incurable amusement park fanatic since I was a kid and have worked at two other parks (shout-out to Cedar Point and Valleyfair!). Now, I can’t wait to share my passion with our readers! Find me @DannyMessinger on Twitter.

Memorial Day weekend usually marks the unofficial start of summertime in the Bay Area. In a typical year, California’s Great America would be kicking it into high gear with plenty of coaster screams and funnel cake smiles.

We all know this year is a little different. We’re going to reopen the park just as soon as it is safe to do so. And since we aren’t able to have all of you buckle up into your favorite thrill ride this weekend, we thought we’d send you on the ultimate virtual roller coaster road trip instead!

Did you know Great America is just one park in a family of amusement parks and waterparks that spans the entire United States, and even stretches into Canada? Each of our parks has an amazing collection of thrill rides and family-friendly experiences.

Now sit upright, hold on tight and get ready for the wildest ride around—highlighting one impressive coaster or water slide from each of our Cedar Fair parks.

What park is on your bucket list? Share what coaster looks coolest—besides RailBlazer, of course!—in the comments below.
