WinterFest Holiday Photo Ops

With Christmas right around the corner, it’s not only the time of year to stock up on gifts; it’s also the time to stock up on holiday pictures. Whether it’s for your Instagram or a family Christmas card, WinterFest at California’s Great America has the best holiday-themed spots for you and your family, spouse or friends to take your holiday photos!

Iconic Carousel Columbia and SnowFlake Lake

As you enter the park you’ll be awestruck by the world’s tallest carousel, Carousel Columbia, which sits right behind Snowflake Lake. Get your skates on and snap a photo on the ice with the carousel in the background.

65-foot-tall Christmas Tree

Tired of the same Christmas photo in front of your tree at home? You will find one of the Bay Area’s tallest Christmas trees at WinterFest, which twinkles with hundreds of lights. Gather your family and friends in front, and get the perfect holiday photo!

Gingerbread Village

Stop by Gingerbread Village to get a photo in front of larger-than-life gingerbread houses. You might even run into some flavored friends while you’re there.

Arctic Alley

Arctic Alley is one of the most stunning areas in the park with icicle lights dangling from the arbor tunnel. This photo spot makes for the most aesthetically pleasing photo on your Instagram feed.

Tinsel Town Bridge

The Tinsel Town bridge is twinkling with tons of lights to get the perfect ‘gram worthy photo!

Picture with Santa

To complete your holiday photos, make sure to stop by St. Nick’s Pics to snap a photo with Santa himself! This is one holiday tradition you don’t want to skip out on!
