8 Reasons Families Will LOVE The Great Pumpkin Fest

October doesn’t have to mean monsters and spooky creatures!

Remember when you were a kid and Halloween was the best time of the year? You got to dress up as your favorite character and you had a clear mission: to get as much candy as you possibly could during the night. Thinking back, these memories stick with you even into adulthood.

But Halloween doesn’t only have to be one night. The Great Pumpkin Fest brings your favorite Halloween memories to life without all the scary stuff.

The Great Pumpkin Fest is the perfect way for the entire family to celebrate Halloween at the California’s Great America. Kids 12 and under are encouraged to wear their costumes, come trick-or-treat with the PEANUTS Gang and enjoy all the activities we have to offer.

Check out the activities we have at The Great Pumpkin Fest:

Foam Pit

This is one of the most popular activities we have! Our giant foam pit is full of bubbles for kids to play in…talk about a child’s dream!

Hay Maze

This is a classic Halloween tradition that all kids will love! It’s decorated with pumpkins all around—plus giant inflatables!

Storytime with JT

The Great Pumpkin Fest is all about...well…The Great Pumpkin! Watch as JT tells the story of “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” and Linus works to convince his friends of the Great Pumpkin’s annual appearance, only to be disappointed again.

Coloring Station

Take a break and spend some time coloring your favorite Halloween and PEANUTS Gang coloring sheets!

Mini-Pumpkin Decorating

Decorate and take home a mini-pumpkin as the ultimate Great Pumpkin Fest souvenir!

PEANUTS Spooktacular

The PEANUTS gang invites you to their Halloween Spooktacular! See them all dressed up in their favorite festive costumes and go on a musical adventure with them set to classic Halloween songs!

Trick-or-Treating

It’s not Halloween without trick-or-treating! Grab a bag and get your favorite treats!
