Mrs. Claus’ WinterFest Sugar Cookies
December 18, 2017‘Tis the season for delicious cooking and baking. It’s no exception at Mrs. Claus’ WinterFest Kitchen. Executive Chef Erick J. Ponce gave us an exclusive look at how Mrs. Claus prepares the scrumptious cookies you can decorate every night of WinterFest. She made it even easier with a How To Video.
Mrs. Claus’ WinterFest Sugar Cookies
(24 cookies)
Ingredients:
2 cups Shortening AP
2 cups Granulated Sugar
2 cups Pastry Flour
2 cups Bread Flour
½ oz Salt
½ oz Vanilla
1 oz Baking Powder
3 Eggs
8 oz Milk
Directions:
- Put shortening AP, sugar granulated, pastry flour and bread flour in a mixing bowl
- Dissolve baking soda in milk
- Mix salt, vanilla, baking soda, milk and eggs together
- Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl
- Allow dough to sit for 24 hours
- Roll out dough
- Use your favorite cookie cutters
- Place cut-outs on a cookie sheet
- Bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes or until golden
- Decorate with your favorite icing and sprinkles

You can decorate four large sugar cookies with all the icing and sprinkles you desire for only $14.
