If you’re looking for fun things to do in the Bay Area, look no further than Boomerang Bay at California’s Great America! With rides, water slides and fun for the whole family to enjoy, Boomerang Bay is the perfect place for staying cool during the summer.

Slides and Attractions

Whether you’re traveling through a series of watery twists and turns on Tasmanian Typhoon, rafting with your family on Didgeridoo Falls or sliding down the three-story tall Screamin’ Wombat, friends and family are destined to find fun things to do at the water park. If big water slides aren’t your thing, we’ve got you covered too. Lounge in the tropical Boomerang Lagoon or test your strength at the Great Barrier Reef wave pool. And bring the little ones to Kookaburra Cay, where they can splish and splash the day away with interactive fountains and water activities.

Dining and Drinks

In need of a delicious lunch break or afternoon refresher? Boomerang Bay has you covered. Enjoy fish and chips from the Outback Shack, a delicious salad from the Coca-Cola Marketplace, cheesy pizza from the Crocodile Canteen and grab dessert from Sally’s Sweet Treats. Then surprise the kids with an ICEE, the perfect summer drink, while adults can indulge in a beverage from the Game Time Sports Bar.

Cabanas

If you want to have the best experience possible at Boomerang Bay, don’t forget to get a Wave Pool Cabana! The six-person semi-private cabanas features chaise lounge chairs, one all-day tube rental, pool side service, and more! Have more guests? No problem! Purchase up to two additional guests spots for only $10 each at the park. And if that’s not enough to make the cabana worthwhile, the first 1,200 cabana visits will receive a limited edition Patriot towel not available anywhere else in the park!

Season Pass Benefits

With so many family fun things to do at Boomerang Bay, it’ll be hard to explore everything in just one day. But with a Gold or Platinum Season Pass, guests can come back time and time again for more, all while getting discounts on food and cabanas!
