Under occasional supervision, inspects, maintains and repairs rides and equipment as assigned. Performs related duties as required. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Inspects, maintains and repairs rides and equipment as assigned.
  • Lubricates rides and equipment.
  • Designs and fabricates parts; rebuilds components.
  • Cleans mechanical parts as needed.
  • Responds to work orders and trouble calls in a timely manner.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date maintenance records; prepares maintenance reports as required.
  • Reviews technical documents, blueprints, schematics, catalogs, etc., as needed to support ride maintenance, repair and rehabilitation work.
  • Works with other departments on repairs and maintenance projects as appropriate.
  • Offers training and assistance to co-workers as necessary.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of all maintenance problems or areas of concern.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory of supplies, parts and materials.
  • Maintains assigned equipment in a safe and proper working condition; maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Performs all work in accordance with department policies and procedures, regulations, plans and specifications, and standards of quality and safety.
  • Receives and responds to inquiries, concerns and complaints from employees and guests regarding ride safety and maintenance.

  • Operates rides as necessary.
  • May perform minor carpentry, plumbing and electrical work as required.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
  • Requires a vocational diploma in mechanical / industrial maintenance supplemented by three to five years of experience in mechanical maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Requires forklift and man lift certifications.

General Statement of Job:

Sales Representative full-time position including a competitive benefits package available in the Group Sales Department. Under occasional supervision, generates attendance and revenue goals by developing and managing B2B sales accounts within the assigned territory of San Mateo, San Francisco, and North Bay Counties. Essential Job Functions:

JOB FUNCTIONS SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing the daily operations, maintenance and financial processing of admissions and in-park revenue system which provides transaction details for production of daily operational reports and General Ledger interface. Other responsibilities include credit card reconciliation and other General Ledger responsibilities assigned by the Manager of Accounting. Supervises subordinates and clerical staff as assigned. Reports directly to the Manager of Accounting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sets up, maintains and operates admissions/ ticketing, in-park spending, and other financial tracking and reporting systems of subsystems.
  • Establishes system data integrity; provides troubleshooting, user training and system customization; maintains user security; develops system reports.
  • Creates documentation detailing system uses and processes as customized for park users.
  • Performs general accounting work as required, including but not limited to reconciling other accounts, creating journal entries, etc.
  • Performs general administrative/office work as required, including but not limited to conducting and attending various meetings, entering computer data and producing spreadsheets, preparing reports and correspondence, copying and filing documents, etc.
  • Receives and/or processes various records, system reports, cash operations reports, memos, correspondence, etc. Communicates with Divisions regarding daily operations Revenue and Over & Short reporting and makes necessary changes to reports.
  • Reconcile daily credit card transactions between our system and Fifth Third; chargeback and refund.
  • Actively participate in month, quarter and year end close activities.
  • Provides concessionaire payment information per contracts. Maintains contracts for all concessionaires.
  • Provides schedules for Revenue sharing with Gilroy Gardens.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Inspects rides, tracks, ride foundations, and other steel structures for safety and maintenance needs.
  • Assists with the analysis of part / equipment failures. Helps determine proper repair methods.
  • Maintains and repairs ride machinery, track structures, and other metal features of the Park, including sign posts, fences and railings, coaster trains, production equipment, etc.
  • Designs, welds, fabricates and installs new structure / equipment components and parts for mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Designs and produces specialized tooling for all Park departments; produces computer-aided and hand drawings of parts, prototypes and tooling.

  • Provides ground support for welders and crane operators.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a vocational machinist diploma supplemented by three to five years of experience in welding work, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess certifications in fork lift and man lift operations. Requires structural welding certifications in ARC, MIG, TIG welding. (3G, 6G) Experience in Air Arc cutting and oxy-acetylene cutting torches.

Experience with Non-Destructive Testing methods and techniques. Must be able to pass eye exam for visual NDT inspections. NDT I or II certification preferred. (magnetic particle)

Overall direction and leadership of the Landscape section and assist in the installation and maintenance of Landscape.
