ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Inspects, maintains and repairs rides and equipment as assigned.
  • Lubricates rides and equipment.
  • Designs and fabricates parts; rebuilds components.
  • Cleans mechanical parts as needed.
  • Responds to work orders and trouble calls in a timely manner.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date maintenance records; prepares maintenance reports as required.
  • Reviews technical documents, blueprints, schematics, catalogs, etc., as needed to support ride maintenance, repair and rehabilitation work.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
  • Requires a vocational diploma in mechanical / industrial maintenance supplemented by three to five years of experience in mechanical maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Requires forklift and man lift certifications.

MANAGER, FOOD AND BEVERAGE


JOB FUNCTIONS SUMMARY:
Communicate with supervisors, peers, and employees providing information by telephone, in written form, e-mail, and or in person concerning safety, guest service, and various topics that need addressing. JOB FUNCTIONS SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Supervises and participates in the maintenance of a safe, clean and attractive Park environment; oversees all park landscaping; concrete/asphalt, and parking lot surface cleaning; backstage janitorial crew.
• Supervises subordinate fulltime and seasonal landscape staff, seasonal grounds cleanup crew; supervisory duties include scheduling; instructing; assigning, reviewing and planning work of others; maintaining standards; coordinating activities; allocating personnel; assist with selecting new employees; acting on employee problems with the Manager; recommending transfers, discipline and discharge.
• Oversees the landscape design, preparation, installation: including but not limited to mowing grass, installing trees and shrubbery, pruning and trimming shrubbery and trees, growing plants in greenhouse from seeds, planting flowers, removing weeds, watering lawns and plants, installing grass sod, repairing irrigation, pest and disease control ; and wash down and cleanup of the park: including using blowers to keep areas clean, empty trash receptacles and dumpsters, wash stains on asphalt and concrete.
• Oversees set-up for special park events (chairs, tables, benches) by grounds cleanup staff as assigned.
• Oversees trash collection and removal from park.
• Oversees the Seasonal Supervisor(s) of grounds cleanup and janitorial as required. Giving direction and guidance to them and the seasonal staff.
• Performs general landscaping and grounds keeping duties as assigned, removing debris and garbage, etc.


• Reviews the work of subordinates for effectiveness; evaluates and makes recommendations as appropriate; offers training, advice and assistance as needed.
• Estimates project materials (plant materials, grounds cleanup crew supplies) and time costs; determines necessary tools, supplies and materials for assigned projects; submits for purchases for in accordance with allocated budget.
• Ensures the maintenance and availability adequate stock of landscaping equipment and grounds clean up equipment (hoses, nozzles, blowers) and other supplies.
• Monitors and inspects work in progress for compliance with policies and procedures, project directives, specifications, schedules, and standards of quality and safety.
• Provides technical guidance and assistance on projects as required.
• Assists other departments and divisions with projects as required.
• Receives and reviews various records and reports including employee attendance records, budget reports, billing invoices, schedules, etc.
• Prepares maintenance reports, purchase orders, work orders, work directives, personnel forms, memos, etc.
• Refers to policies and procedure manuals, maintenance manuals, equipment manuals, technical manuals and diagrams, safety manuals, etc.
• Operates / uses a vehicle, back hoe, truck, forklift, loaders, sweeper truck, compactor and other landscape and grounds cleanup/construction equipment and tools; operates a variety of office equipment such as a computer, copier, calculator, telephone, two-way radio, etc.
• Uses computer and clerical supplies, cleaning tools and materials, cleaning supplies, various other hand and power tools, etc.
• Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as the immediate supervisor, other Park supervisors and personnel, subordinates, guests, vendors, sales representatives, contractors.
• Plans and implements efficient landscape and grounds maintenance schedules and procedures. Plans, organize and direct a technical and semi-skilled / unskilled staff.
• Works a varying shift based on the demands of the Park.

SALES EXECUTIVE
JOB FUNCTION SUMMARY:
Sales Representative full-time position including a competitive benefits package available in the Group Sales Department. Under occasional supervision, generates attendance and revenue goals by developing and managing B2B sales accounts within the assigned territory of Alameda, Contra Costa, Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Southern California Counties. Job Functions Summary
This senior level management position has a dual reporting responsibility to the Park General Manager and Cedar Fair’s Chief Marketing Officer and is responsible for driving the annual marketing plan development and executing all Marketing, Sales and Communications Strategy. The Marketing Director is responsible for managing and building the Cedar Fair brand; identifying the current and desired target audience; and, driving profitable attendance and revenue growth through admissions acquisition, guest activation/engagement and product/channel innovation. The Marketing Director will align to, support, and contribute to Cedar Fair’s corporate strategy as well as all other Parks' efforts to drive the business.
Desired Skills & Experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee development, and execution of short and long term marketing plans and strategies that align with company objectives and attendance/revenue targets.
• Develop annual marketing expense budgets with direct reports; understand and analyze P&L and other financial metrics to make sound operational and business decisions including setting and achieving attendance/revenue targets.
• Work with core team on development of park website, social media and direct marketing to ensure alignment with Corporate strategy, standards and guidelines.
• Identify and enhance partner relationships that improve Cedar Fair's position in the marketplace.
• Facilitate action plans and goals by meeting with direct reports (Public Relations Manager, Group Sales Manager and Promotions Manager) on a regular basis. In addition, communicate with direct reports to coach, monitor progress and provide support.
• Act as liaison between park and agency within scope of responsibility.
• Work with Public Relations Manager and VP/General Manager in developing positioning for responses to media inquiries and act as media spokesperson in absence of the Public Relations Manager.
• Represent Cedar Fair in the community, particularly as it relates to tourism; expected to practice and demonstrate spirit of community service.
• Develop detailed ticket and season pass forecasts and budgets including yearly pricing strategies.
• Forecast daily attendance each week for internal use.
• Re-forecast revenues and expenses throughout the year.
• Work with the Corporate VP of Sales to develop Group Sales goals and targets as it relates to the Company’s Sales Incentive Program.
