Preparing for Halloween Haunt
August 29, 2018It’s almost here--one of the best times of the season: Halloween Haunt! But behind the elaborate mazes, detailed decorations and spooky scare zones, there is a lot of work and planning to be done.
Now that the summer is winding down and the park is only operating during the weekends, our Entertainment team has been working day and night throughout the week to prepare for Haunt.
Here is a little bit of an update on what we’re up to:
Maze Upgrades
Our painting and set design team is working on enhancing Chaos House from last year’s version. They’ve added new features inside the maze that will create a more frightening experience, and they’re touching up all of the white paint inside the maze to intensify the glow-in-the-dark feature.
Wardrobe Wizards
Our wardrobe team is full of unsung heroes when it comes to the amount of hard work they put into preparing for Haunt. They’re working tirelessly to create each costume from scratch for the Haunt monsters. Can you guess which character any of these costumes or pieces of fabric belong to?
Cornmaze Construction
Our construction crew just recently built the framework for Cornstalkers. There is still a lot to be done, but they are working fast and hard!
We’re now almost three weeks away from the opening night of Haunt. We can’t wait to show you all the new and exciting features we are creating!
